Just a reminder, especially to my non-comic reading viewers, that today is “Free Comic Book Day.” Exactly as the name states, comic book stores across the country are literally giving away books! This is as good a time as any to see what all this funnybook fuss is all about. For a taste of what books are available, Dorian and Johanna give some views, reviews, and overviews of the titles offered. What? You say you don’t know where there’s a comic shop nearby? Let’s fix that.

Alas, it wasn’t until mid afternoon that I hit the comic book store and by then the … selection . . . was . . .slim. I opted out of Archie/Veronica comics in favour of a comic put out by a local guy and one I hadn’t heard of (and I forget the name of). Still, I’m eager to read what I have and see if they are any good.
