Yesterday we ate at a table outside at Bueno Y Sano. Cappy came along and hung out while we had dinner. Mostly he was content to just sit and watch the cars go by on Sumner, but whenever someone walked by he stood up and wagged, assuming they were coming to see him.

Three of these passers-by were a mom with two little girls. The less-little one asked (as you should) if she could pet the dog, and we told her yes, he’s very friendly. She squealed with delight as Cappy wagged his tail and licked her foot. When they came out of the restaurant, she wanted to pet him again, and he happily obliged.

I can’t tell you how happy this made me. It’s so nice to have a dog who is so sweet, friendly, and gentle — and a pit bull at that! He’s a credit to his breed and we’re really fortunate to have this little guy.
