Nope, didn’t watch the Superbowl, didn’t care. And am still absolutely bamboozled by the idea of watching it “just for the ads”.
The day I turn on TV specifically to watch ads is the day it goes out to the curb. The advertising industry has decided that every time my eyes are open I should be looking at ads, and I’m going to go out of my way to watch some? Yeah, uh-huh.
So no comments on the game, the ads, or Janet Jackson’s cybernetic breast from me. If you’re real good, though, I might talk about comic books later.
