Hey everybody it’s Previews time, and there’s some pretty exciting stuff in here in addition to the usual junk.
First and foremost, there’s an interview with one of my favorite comics people, Kevin Huizenga, and he’s got a “new” book (looks like it’s reprinted stuff, but I’ll buy it) called Gloriana.

Hope you like your FCBD shirt with a high collar and tons of piping. Note, there will be no women’s fitted version of the t-shirt; Lee suggests women just let their boobs hang out of a corset.
Dark Horse has a book reprinting the Hunter comics from Warren. I’m not interested in this, but I’m hoping this means The Rook is not far behind, which I used to read.
The solicitation for Green Lantern #6 reads: “With the tumultuous battle for Korugar past them, Sinestro and Hal are left at a crossroads. They must pick up the pieces of their lives. The question is, will they do it alone…or together?” I had no idea this was now a romance book.
And the text for Resurrection Man #6 says “You’re going to be here a long, long time…” I wouldn’t bet on it, Resurrection Man.
IDW has a Star Trek/Legion of Superheroes crossover with this cover:

Let’s just fix that…

There! Now EVERYONE’S dancing!
Page 184 features Image’s No Place Like Home #1. Apparently the Wheel of Nerd has been spun and come up with “DARK REIMAGINING OF THE WIZARD OF OZ” because this is like, one of forty such books in PReviews this month.
Hey, here’s something I might actually buy! King City TP by Brandon Graham!
Image is also doing The Bulletproof Coffin: Disinterred. I really enjoyed the first Bulletproof Coffin story, and will be getting this, probably digitally.
And now it’s time for…

What stupid bullshit, other than yet more zombie crap, does the Worst Publisher in Previews have on offer this month?

How about this shirt that I’m sure has been properly licensed from Lucasfilm?
Antarctic Press, folks!
I shouldn’t go from that crap to good stuff in one jump, but next up is Gloriana by Kevin Huizenga and you should buy it.

Another of my favorite creators, Joe Sacco, has a book called Journalism, collecting some of his shorter pieces. A must.
And then there’s Harvey Pekar’s Cleveland. Man, this is a fantastic month!
Now we’re in the “Apparel” section, featuring any number of “KEEP CALM AND [SOMETHING STUPID]” t-shirts. And, as evidence that this particular “meme” has joke-crept, there’s one with “STAY CALM”, showing that the creators don’t even know what they’re playing on anymore.
Hey, speaking of putting the “durr” in “pander” (thank you, Andrew), this ad is all over this month’s Previews:

Okay, I ain’t no Jess Nevins, but I always thought that what put the “steam” in “steampunk” was…well…steam.

Eat a dick, nerds.

All the stories listed on the cover to Gloriana were previously published in Or Else #2 (which is titled Gloriana as well). Or Else #2 is a 4″x5″ paperback however, so it’s probably best to get the new hardcover.
“Eat a dick, nerds.”
Okay, no argument this time.
Pingback: Believe it or not, I wasn’t specifically looking for “Swamp Thing” on Archive.org.
Antarctic certainly has a legacy of crap, but worse than Bluewater? I’m not so sure.
I find Bluewater’s offerings to be uninteresting and inessential. Antarctic’s are actively awful.
