Go Somewhere Else

Let’s look at what some pals of mine are doing across the web!

HEY WEBKIDS, WEBCOMICS!

Kevin Church, along with various talented artists, have been making hell of good comics over at Agreeable Comics. Unlike so many other webcomics, they’re not driven by whatever the latest hot comic, movie, or game is, Kevin is more interested in telling good stories with real characters.

Josh Krach and Sheli Hay recently debuted Troop Infinity, an all-ages webcomic that looks to be a lot of fun.

Chris Sims’ (and others) Awesome Hospital continues to amaze, astound, and delight.

TUMBLRS GONNA TUMBL

There are so many Tumblrs out there now, even I can’t keep them all straight, but here are some to check out. In general they consist of cool things these cool folks want to share:

Shane Bailey

Benjamin Birdie

Bully the Little Stuffed Bull

Kevin Church

Josh F (Drinky)

Josh Krach

Lisa (Ragnell)

Ken Lowery

Jim McGrath

Jim McGrath (poems)

Chris Sims

RJ White

Dorian Wright

These have themes to them:

Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman’s Boyfriend

A Nice Cup of Comics

ComicPunx (Not a Tumblr, but close)

Estate 4.1

Daily Donald

Nerds Ruin Everything

This final Tumblr requires some warning. There are those who say that its contents are unwelcome, that the things it displays should not be and never have been. To these criticisms I say, we do not make something evil go away by ignoring it. We must look at these things and say, strongly, “NEVER AGAIN”. With that warning:

Terry Love You Long Time

SOME PEOPLE STILL HAVE BLOGS

Not really a personal buddy, but Leonard Pierce’s Ludic Live is worth checking out.

HEY YOU GOT YOUR TEEVEE IN MY COMPUTER

You can now get The Variants season one on DVD, and here’s a little something-something to prepare you for season two.

WHEN DO WE EAT

And speaking of new seasons, the guerrilla-dining iconoclasts at Bring Your Own Restaurant are gearing up for their third season of outdoor neighborhood eating.
