So last week it became official: I got a promotion at work. Well, it’s sort of not really a promotion, it’s more like shifting departments and still doing a lot of the same work, but it comes with a bit of a raise and a change to a title I can actually remember, so as far as I’m concerned, that’s a promotion.
Anyhow, as a result I am now at the Corporate Headquarters here on Lucinfero Island and will be hecka-busy, so expect a light blogging week.
Congrats, Dave! I hope your new title includes something along the lines of “The Mighty and Powerful Dave, Supreme Master of the Western Lands.”

I wanted to know if you took the iPad on the road with you, or just a laptop, or both. If you do have the iPad with you, how does it do as a mobile work platform?
I have the iPad with me, but I can’t do any work on it (nor would I want to). It’s strictly for entertainment. Watched two downloaded TV shows on the flight here. The Mackboop (laptop) is the work device.
