As for Maher, it is absolutely right to call him out but I feel that on the vast majority of the issues, he’s one of the closest things to a sane voice we have in mainstream media, and he’s not a party flack, which puts him way ahead of people like Keith Olbermann. The fact that he believes woo on one issue sucks, but it’s pretty forgivable on balance considering what a great public advocate he’s been for reason in general.
