Looks like I gotta send the Mackboop in to get the DVD drive fixed. It won’t read or write to CDs. It’s more inconvenience than anything else.
Heh, just like a real MacBook! I’ve had three different top-of-the-line Apple laptops that needed their DVD drives (well, the first one was just a CDRW) serviced.
It’s an even better approximation than you originally intended.
To be fair, the optical drive is probably the most moving-partsiest component in any notebook, and thus most likely to go wrong.
So the Mackboop took a Mackpoop? It’s funny you say that because my laptop has recently been just opening the DVD Drive at random. Don’t know what that’s all about.
