And I Should Probably Rake Some Leaves When I Get Back

On Saturday I’m making a trek to the creepiest-named city in Massachusetts — Braintree — for the grand opening of a new Lego Store there!

This is awesome because up until now I had no place to buy Legos at all! Okay, not really, but I have never been to a Lego store, even though there’s already stores in Natick and Burlington (near Woo-bin). I’ve been meaning to check out that latter one for some time but never got around to it, and I figure a grand opening is as good a time as any to finally make a pilgrimage.

(The pilgrimage I should make is to the Lego Headquarters in Enfield, CT, which is like 10 minutes from my house. But they don’t have a store and don’t do tours, which is SAD.)

Here is the lowdown on what’s going on. I’ll be going on Saturday, so I’ll miss the giveaways, but that’s okay. I just mostly want to get to a Lego store. I really want to see the “pick-a-brick” displays, where, like candy, you can fill a container with miscellaneous bricks for a flat price!

Becky has declined the offer to join me on this fascinating journey, but rest assured, I’ll bring the camera and take many photos of the gloriousness so that she and you will know how it was!

I’ve been to the Lego Store in Chicago, and it was pretty awesome. I’m gonna have to make the trek up to Braintree for this one sometime. Thanks for the info!

I think you’re going to have to leave all your credit cards with me, my friend.

Dave’s payments from the Star Wars sale will go toward legos, I’m betting. New driveway be damned!

I see what your planning. Your not fooling anyone. Money from eBay + Trip to LEGO Store = a really colorful and bumpy driveway. Next it will be a LEGO Mailbox then a LEGO garage then a …Oh Crap! Becky you better go it’s gonna real silly real fast!
