I was going to make a joke, but I got nothing that’s bigger than McCain’s joke of a campaign.

Hope your handlers have a good October Surprise planned! Are you dressing an intern up as Osama bin Ladin and pretending he’s been captured?

    Meanwhile, I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to fill two hours of television tomorrow night if he doesn’t show. One of my public TV peers called yesterday and said, “If we had written this election as a script, no one would’ve believed it.”

    I believe Obama should just go ahead and debate an empty podium. Possibly with a “Gone fishin’” sign hanging on it.
