    Man, I’m so glad I’m not the only one with a stack of books by his bed. My wife has made me relocate them into my bedside table, but they’re there. Waiting. In the dark.

    And I really should bite on those Girl Genius collections.

    Which Girl Genius volume is that? I’m curious whether the collections of the webcomics read any better in collected form. I like it in page-a-day form, but it’s ponderously slow reading that way.

    It’s the Girl Genius Omnibus, vol. 1, which collects the first three volumes of the TPB (I don’t remember what that translates to vis a vis the single issues.) I think it a nice-sized offering of the material.
