Emphasis mine.

Is it possible that she would still be alive if they were playing Power Grid instead? Unfortunately, we’ll never know.

I realize Monopoly is a really annoying game, but what could you possibly do that would lead to killing someone. Perhaps she didn’t pass go, but still tried to collect $200? I know that would do it for me.

I know a guy who knew this other guy who got killed after playing “O Deadly Swarm.” Coincidence? I doubt it.

My guess is that she refused to trade away New York Avenue.

I heard the same story but they were playing CLUE. Also heard it was Col. Mustard in the Parlor with the Candlestick.

In my experience, it’s because someone flipped out over having to pay everything over to some asshole with six hotels on the same block.

At least it wasn’t Risk. I guarantee they wouldn’t have gotten reduced sentences; opening “Risk” constitutes prior intent.

I had a close friend refuse to speak to me for four weeks due to a game of Risk where I stabbed him right clear in the back. Oh, and I won.
