Wampa!
It never occurred to me how grisly it was for the toy taun-taun to have a belly slit where you could stow one of the action figures. Now, seeing the commercial again….ew!
WAMPA!
My Tauntaun didn’t have a belly slit. I think there were two waves of them and only the second wave had it. Nor did I have a Wampa. WAMPA!
The “open belly rescue feature” (seriously, that’s what it was called) was introduced later.
