Ok Fine, Rock Me Tonight If You Must

Last night we headed up to Pearl Street in Northampton to go see Fountains of Wayne perform in support of their new album, Traffic and Weather (capsule review: not as good as the others, but still good.) Lead singer Chris Collingswood’s voice wasn’t cooperating well, and it seemed that the set was pretty short, but we still had a really good time. Here are the songs they played, near’s I remember:

Songs from Fountains of Wayne:

Radiation Vibe
Barbara H.

Songs from Utopia Parkway:

Red Dragon Tattoo
Denise
It Must Be Summer

Songs from Welcome Interstate Managers:

Mexican Wine
Bright Future in Sales
Stacy’s Mom
Hackensack
Hey Julie
Bought for a Song

Songs from Traffic and Weather:

Someone to Love
Yolanda Hayes
Fire in the Canyon
Strapped for Cash
I-95

Hey! Have an mp3, won’t you? They didn’t play this song, and it’s not even on their collection of B-sides and etcetera, Out-of-State Plates, but it’s a song I really dig. It’s from the “Scary Movie” soundtrack.
