I got hipped to this yesterday via this entry on WFMU’s blog, which is well worth bookmarking.
Brad Neely is a modern day Renaissance man who, among other amazing achievements, has created a show called “Wizard People, Dear Readers”. It’s an alternate narration of the first Harry Potter movie, intended to replace the actual dialogue. It’s also freaking hilarious.

Should I be concerned that I’m not craving more? The guy has a vocal quality rather similar to Brother Theodore as Gollum by way of Peter Lorre, and I’m cool with that. It’s just that his actual comments don’t tickle my ribs all that much. I did enjoy the reference to Professor Ugnaught in the third clip.

I had this on my flash drive for a while at my last job. Whenever I was feeling low, I could count on it to cheer me up, but I had to listen in short bits so my half-stifled bursts of uncontrollable laughter wouldn’t be distruptive to the other cubicle drones.
