Busy busy with work, sorry. But I have an activity for you, my ever-patient and apparently easily amused readers. A wee quizlet for you to take!
NOTE: If I’ve run this past you before, please keep mum, at least for a bit.
Here is the situation. You have decided to make some tea! You set a pot of water on to boil.
While waiting for the water to boil, you separate some clothes for washing.
After that, the water is still heating. You decide to pay bills later, so you get the checkbook, calculator, pen, stamps, etc, and put them out so you’ll remember to do so.
Speaking of stamps, you need to take that package for Aunt Myrna to the post office! You put it near the door so you won’t forget.
Walking past the dishwasher you open the door to remind you to put away the clean dishes.
Ooh, dishwasher detergent. You’re almost out! Jot that down on the shopping list.
Finally your water is boiling! As you reach for the tea bag you try to remember:
How many tasks have you accomplished?

None! You have only partially completed everything.
One. You boiled water.
Zero. you’re out of tea… you have been meaning to buy some but you fail to write it on your grocery list, or fail to get your list to the store.
“You LOSE! Good day, sir!” – Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka
Depends on how you define a task. If you are talking about completed tasks then I have to agree with Vicky. The answer is Zero as boiling water was only a part of the task that was making tea. Course it is all subjective.
I took the entire exercise as an allegory for “A watched pot never boils.”
One – you’ve realised you need to buy a kettle.
